Maria Putina, daughter of the Russian president, became the target of Dutch anger yesterday with calls for her to be deported from the home that she has set up in the Netherlands with her Dutch boyfriend.
The mayor of the city where victims’ bodies will be brought for identification demanded the expulsion of Maria, 29, the elder of President Putin’s two daughters, who has a penthouse apartment in a village near The Hague.
Images of the modern block of flats were published by various Dutch media outlets as Twitter users, some believed to be Ukrainians, called for a peaceful demonstration at the village of Voorschoten against her presence.
