Sara "Winona" Quigley

Sara "Winona" Quigley, is cofounder and CEO of Green Matters Natural Dye, which makes environmentally friendly dyes for the fashion and soft goods industries. The five-year-old company sources dyes from a variety of ethically-minded vendors, completes all production using only rainwater and uses food waste as a source of sustainable color. In 2020, it developed a food waste dyeing program with Chipotle Mexican Grill and Loomstate, using avocado pits from Chipotle's restaurants to create a clothing line.
