Pep19™ Hits Food & Beverage Market
Brings Convenient New Route to Optimal Health

For the first time, a functional peptide is available in the food and beverage market that opens the door to optimal health. This peptide, which was discovered by Proteimax scientists, acts directly on fat cells and commands them to activate their own metabolism. This mechanism of action differentiates the dietary additive from pharmaceuticals, which can cause adverse effects, as well as from conventional and generally ineffective remedies, such as diet and exercise. The result is less body fat.

The peptide, Pep19™, recently received certification as a food additive for human use (click here). Beginning in Q1 of this year, it went into full scale production for use as an ingredient in consumer facing products.

Proteimax has partnered with Sanvall Enterprises, the leading distributor of dietary supplements in the Hispanic segment, to bring it to consumers eager for solutions that work. The partnership has resulted in development of the world's first Pep19 supplement, which will be offered as easy-to-take capsules.

"Like many others, I've struggled to optimize my health, so I understand exactly why a new solution is needed," said Paulo Hala, President of Sanvall Enterprises. "After looking at all the available data and the hard science behind Pep19, we  decided to partner with Proteimax and offer that new solution. The partnership represents a diversification of our market leading product portfolio and an important business opportunity for growth. It brings an important new product to an eager market."

Sanvall plans to market the new Pep19™ supplement under the nutroslim brand. To learn more about the nutroslim rollout, sign up for updates here.
Proteimax discovers and commercializes biologically active peptides. Its mission is to solve major problems of health and agriculture. The company was born in its discovery of a peptide that works as a dietary ingredient to promote loss of body fat, reduce liver fat, flatten glycemic spikes, and reduce fasting insulin. This peptide is envisioned as a new, food based approach to the global epidemics of obesity, diabetes, and fatty liver; it has applications in human, canine, feline, and equine health.
