In the rapidly progressing age of technology that we find ourselves in, many of our past times are getting some unlikely revamps. When it comes to imbibing, we’ve seen everything from robot bartenders to automated machines within the last five years, and it’s only just getting started. The brand Barsys was actually one of the first to make an automated cocktail mixer with the Barsys 2.0+, and the Barsys Coaster also utilized the label’s smart bar technology (which precisely measures each pour, guaranteeing the perfect cocktail each time). Now, the company is expanding its lineup of futuristic cocktail machines with the Barsys 360, a smart cocktail maker for meticulous mixologists and budding bartenders.

How does it work? Well, the simple process begins with adding your ingredients to the machine, then connecting to the Barsys app on your smartphone (or tablet), where you input the spirits and mixers you’ve added. Then, you can either select from a variety of curated cocktails on the app or make your own custom drink. There are no wasteful and finicky pods, and it works with any brand or bottle. As far as tech specs go, you can load up to six ingredients with 30oz of space in each of the six ingredient holders, and it comes in either Midnight Black or Polar White with Bluetooth 5.0.

You can use the Barsys app alongside the 360, which has thousands of cocktail recipes, but it also works great on its own, as it features exclusive recipes from acclaimed mixologists and bars around the world. The app also gets to know your preferences and will offer personalized recommendations based on your taste.

The Barsys 360 will be available for pre-order on August 15th for $475 exclusively on the Barsys website, but you can play around with the app in the meantime to get some inspiration.
