🌟 Celebrating 15 Years of Impact with Goldman Sachs #10KSBUK 🌟 In 2016, a conversation with Alan Wing-King, introduced Jomas Associates (Engineering, Environmental, Land Remediation) and I, to #GS10KSB programme. In 2017, after a rigorous application and interview process, I secured a place on the transformative programme - I embarked on what we consider to be a condensed mini Executive MBA delivered in association with University of Oxford & Aston University. I was assigned Melanie Bryan OBE DL as my growth group expert. Never before had I been so deeply challenged to think about my purpose & value proposition. She saw me! I was taken out of my comfort zone, but equipped with skills not only for the next stage of my business journey, but also for my personal growth. The realisation of my role not only as an entrepreneur but as a visionary for future generations. True lightbulb moment! Last night, at the #10KSBUK Evening Reception at the Tate Modern, I had the incredible opportunity to celebrate 15 years of this impactful programme alongside the alumni community. 🚧 Liverpool Coring Works 🚧   This week we have undertaken ground investigative works at a commercial warehouse in Liverpool, drilling three metres below ground level. This was to obtain soil samples for chemical analysis requested by the local authority. This method caused little disruption to the client using a small rig and creating only a narrow diameter opening in the floor, which required minimal reinstatement.   Externally, in the location of the former AST, we were able to utilise a mechanical excavator to achieve the same objective. Digging trial pits allows for a more detailed look at the soils in-situ and makes it easier to observe potential evidence of contamination and it is quicker to get it done, so this is why it was the preferred technique here.
