South Texas Blood & Tissue Center (STBTC) is a nonprofit community blood center & region’s largest blood supplier providing blood, plasma, platelets & other blood components to 111 hospitals in 48 South Texas counties. Founded in 1974, STBTC is part of the BioBridge Global family of nonprofits, offering services in regenerative medicine & research; cellular therapy; cord blood collection/storage; donated human tissue recovery/distribution for transplant; and testing of blood & plasma products.
