Step into Spring - Walking Festival Expression of Interest Form
"Step into Spring" is a new initiative led by the Health Action Trust, Top of the South Neighbourhood Support, the Nelson Marlborough DHB and both Nelson and Tasman Councils, which will take place in October 2022 across the Nelson-Tasman.

"Step into Spring" is a festival which promotes the benefits of walking on wellbeing, and provides an opportunity for people to connect with each other and the environment.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from passionate Community Partners who are interested in organising an activity/programme or supporting the festival in some way.

We will promote and support all events under the "Step into Spring" umbrella, but organisers will take ownership of their individually organised activity/programme.

Feel free to forward this survey on to any other community groups or organisations who might want to be involved.

We are excited to hear from you!

For any questions, please contact Kara from Elevated Events at hello@elevatedevents.co.nz.

*You can submit multiple ideas in one form.
*The survey will take approximately 4 minutes to complete.

What is your name?
What is the best number to contact you on?
Which Organisation/Group are you from?
If you are not apart of an organisation/group, please put individual.
How would your Organisation like to be involved with "Step into Spring"?
What activity/programme could you deliver during the festival?
We are looking for a brief description, but provide as much information as possible, eg. location, duration, frequency. You can suggest multiple ideas. An activity/programme doesn’t need to be primarily a walking event, as long as it has a walking component to it. For Example, A group organised to walk to a rugby match or to a local event, a heritage walk around important locations within Nelson (45 mins), or a beach clean-up at Tahuna Beach (30 mins), walk around local neighbourhood (1 hour) etc.
Where would your event/programme be located?
Please provide the region/suburb/specific area eg. Nelson or Tasman, a specific walking track. If you don't know yet, just leave this question blank.
Organisers of activities/programmes will take ownership of their individually organised activity/programme. Do you need any help with this? If so, how?
What do you see as the biggest obstacle preventing your members/communities from walking more?
