Solitaire Cash Review 2023 – Win Real Money

One of my favorite games to play when I’m looking to kill time is Solitaire. Straightforward, fun, and just the right amount of challenging, Solitaire is the perfect game to play while I’m waiting for the bus or in line at the grocery store. Solitaire Cash takes the classic Solitaire card game up a notch by offering players the opportunity to win cash while playing on their mobile devices. Solitaire Cash is an update of the classic Solitaire card game, with the added opportunity to play Solitaire for cash prizes. Developed by Papaya Gaming (who also created the highly popular Bubble Cash), Solitaire Cash is free-to-play and offers a fun way to win a few bucks here and there. Some players report even higher payouts, although it’s worth noting that average reviewers on the App Store talk about much smaller winnings on average.

Solitaire Cash is currently only available on the app store for iOS devices like iPhones and iPads, so I had to download the app on my wife’s iPhone since I usually play mobile games on an Android device. Sadly, it is not available on the Google Play store.

Once I downloaded the Solitaire Cash game app, setup was a breeze. I started by choosing an avatar and a username, and then was immediately whisked into a tutorial. While I already know how to play Solitaire, the gameplay overview was helpful in understanding how the app scores games and divvies out prizes.

After completing the tutorial, I received 10 gems which could then be used to enter different real money tournaments. The first tournament I entered, Gems Factory, offered a prize pool of 12 gems and only cost two gems to enter. I got stuck on moves and ultimately had to exit the game without completing it, but I still got 1,500 points as well as a time bonus of 855 for a total score of 2,355.

As luck would have it, my score was the top one out of the other five players on the leaderboard, so I won seven gems as a prize! The second-place player won four gems and the third-place player won one gem.

Following my first tournament, I got an overview of how other tournaments and currencies work in the game. Each tournament I participate in boosts an XP meter which can help me unlock new content and prizes. It’s important to remember that each multiplayer game involves getting paired with other players who have similar skill levels. Even though players complete a Solitaire game by themselves, they’re ultimately going head-to-head against 4-10 other players, depending on the tournament structure. While this meant that as I started the game I was doing quite well, as I leveled up I started to get paired with more skilled players.

Different tournaments have different structures and prize payouts. Some tournaments only involve competing with four other players, whereas other tournaments with higher stakes payouts involve facing off against nine players. Overall, the price structure and prize payouts were easy to understand within the app.

Unlike some other mobile games like Among Us, tournaments fire even if other players aren’t playing online at the same time. For example, I played in another Gems Factory tournament and did fairly well, but had to wait several minutes for four more players to complete games in the tournament in order to find out how I stacked up against them. Thankfully, Solitaire Cash lets me play other tournaments while I wait for previous tournaments to finish, and I can collect my prizes once a past tournament has been completed, so I don’t have to wait around to get gaming again.

While Solitaire Cash is definitely free-to-play, players who are willing to put a little money into the game will have a greater chance of winning bigger prizes more quickly.

As long as you’re willing to save up your gems in order to enter tournaments with cash prizes, it’s easy to play Solitaire for free. For example, if I collect a total of 120 gems, I could win up to $7 in something called a “Freeroll” tournament, which costs no money to enter—only gems. Each day I log in to the app, I earn additional prizes and rewards based on a prize calendar, and I can watch an ad in order to earn more gems, too. There’s also an option to refer friends to the game that could net me $1 for each player who joins with my referral code. It’s these extra bonuses and payouts that make it possible to start playing Solitaire Cash for free.

In order to make money playing Solitaire Cash, the easiest path to win cash is to participate in cash tournaments. Some tournaments, like Adrenaline Rush offer a $20 prize pool and $7 entry fee, whereas others only cost gems, and some, like the Starter Tourney, cost a mixture of gems and real cash. Solitaire Cash accepts payment via Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards, as well as through your PayPal account.

Obviously, one of the most exciting features of Solitaire Cash is the opportunity to win money by competing against other players online. When it comes time to cash out, the app does take a nominal portion of players' winnings; however, the bulk of your prize payout goes to the winner.

For every $1 in cash deposited, players earn an additional two gems.
