Powerback 204: Chaos to calm - getting used to slowing down

In today’s Powerback® episode, we're talking about going from chaos to calm. In other words, getting used to things working, getting used to slowing down, getting used to being able to sit with things, to enjoy things, to be in the moment.

When you have been used to operating in a place of chaos, where you have been a master fixer, you're the one that everyone goes to, you're just always on the go fixing, doing, putting out fires, making shit happen, then the second that you try to embrace calm, your entire body, mind, soul, and everything else is going to push back with resistance.

It doesn't mean that it's wrong, it means that it's new and unfamiliar. However, it is shiftable. You can absolutely shift from chaos to calm, and today we're going to talk about how to do that.

    We’ll go through:
Resisting it when things are actually workingGoing back to chaos because it’s familiarHow to shift from chaos to calmWhat does calm look like for you?Catching, shifting, and moving differently

Powerback 203: Increase your capacity to receive

Today, we are digging into the topic of receiving. As a very strong-willed person who is typically the one that everyone else goes to switching over to being a receiver versus always being a giver, doesn't always come quite so naturally.

So, in this Powerback® episode, I'm going to share with you a couple of different ways that you can start to increase that capacity so that you can start to receive. Look, I'm not telling you to stop helping people, I'm suggesting that perhaps you start to help yourself first.

    We’ll go through:

Powerback 202: 5 Witchy methods I use to connect + expand with

I am a girl of the earth and of the universe. When I learned that these are parts of who I am and that they actually really helped me not just to connect with myself, to get more grounded, and to get more centered, but these methods also helped me find clarity, peace, and solitude.

I get that there might be ways to do certain things. But just like I teach you in just about every topic and aspect, there's no right or wrong way to do something when it is fully in alignment with you.

So, my goal today is to share some of the things that I have found to be really supportive for me and maybe that will inspire you to find something that works for you as well.

The methods that I'm going to share with you in this Powerback® episode have been an incredibly simple yet profound way that I've been able to manage and tap into both of those things.

    We’ll go through:
3 Fun facts about meMethod 1: groundingMethod 2: creating simmer potsMethod 3: airing outMethod 4: tarot and oracle cardsMethod 5: seek guidance from mentors

Real, Raw, Relatable

I recently found the Gutsy Podcast and felt immediate relieved when I started listening to this level of authentic conversation combined with tangible strategy. Entrepreneurship can be incredibly isolating but having this conversation in my pocket to listen on the go has given me the continual reminder of collective struggle & potential for success when we collaborate together.
