While economic pressures are impacting businesses and consumers nationwide, rising costs are hitting the hospitality sector differently from one state to the next, according to Lightspeed Commerce data which revealed that Victorian restaurant bills had skyrocketed by nine per cent in a year, nearly triple the rise in New South Wales, Queensland, and Tasmanian venues.
