EV company Altigreen to enter Chennai market
CHENNAI: EV company Altigreen is all set to enter the Chennai market with its road-ready new energy Electric Vehicle (neEV).
The company has partnered with MoEVing for the launch of MoEVing’s last mile cargo delivery through its EV solutions to fast pace transformation towards electric mobility. With this entry, Altigreen has now expanded its network across major markets including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and now Chennai.
"Our road-ready vehicles have been exclusively conceptualised for the needs of Indian roads as also a solution to rising environmental concerns.
The demand for sustainable, clean and affordable vehicles for last-mile delivery is at an all-time high. We believe our partnership with MoEVing will help both of us to cater to this demand and achieve our target of deploying environment friendly mobility solutions in the region," said Amitabh Saran, CEO, Altigreen Propulsion Labs.
Altigreen has already opened multiple service centres in Chennai and will roll out its EV solutions for grocery and doorstep goods delivery. It will work together with MoEVing to augment the adoption of EVs in last-mile delivery over traditional ICE vehicles to help improve the city's air quality with its affordable and green options. It is, further, developing a network in other areas like Coimbatore to support its customers.
Vikash Mishra, founder and CEO of MoEVing, said, "Excited to kick off operations in a great city, Chennai. A state known for its leadership in automotive manufacturing, innovation and progressive electric vehicle policies, we are happy to start our journey in Tamil Nadu with Altigreen and cKers."
Alitgreen's neEV has emerged as a favoured choice of organised players for various applications including last mile delivery, whether ecommerce, grocery or white goods. The EVs are better in all aspects as compared to diesel options and include elaborate IoT / telematics for greater control on vehicle performance.
