We are excited to be restarting our Autumn term classes for young people in Milton Gardens Community Hall on Tuesdays 20th September - 6th December (no class on 25th October, half term holiday week).

Please fill out the registration form below for each young person you are hoping will attend, even if they are from the same household.

Please note there are limited places and registration is essential for each child to secure a place

Acrobatics is a high-risk activity. Mimbre work with experienced and professional workshop leaders and take measures to create a safe environment and minimise these risks. However accidents, strains and injuries can still happen and by signing this form you acknowledge this risk and approve of your child taking part in the activity.

From Autumn term 2022 we will be working with physical contact in the classes, for children to be able to support each other in counterbalances and partner acrobatic moves and for the teachers to be able to support the participants when they learn new acrobatic moves.
In line with the guidelines issued by the Child Protection in Sport Unit, physical contact will only take place when necessary to:
Develop sports skills or techniques
Treat an injury
Prevent an injury or accident from occurring
Comfort a distressed child or to celebrate their success.

We will always work with the concept of consent for physical touch and the option of opting out of physical contact and proximity if your child is uncomfortable with that. If you have any concern or questions about this please contact us by email, phone or by talking to the teacher.

We will not work with direct Covid restrictions anymore, but we still ASK YOU NOT TO BRING YOUR CHILD IN IF THEY FEEL UNWELL. Whatever virus or bacteria they feel unwell with, rest would be better than physical exercises and it would be best to not pass it onto the other young people in the group!
