Besides my work at Accenture I’ve been involved as part-time professor at Computer Science School at Autonomous University of Nuevo León and currently studying Master’s Degree in Visual Arts with particular focus on developing computer vision app as part of the art process.

What do you do if your nonprofit organization needs to make data-driven decisions and foster innovation?
You don't have to do long surveys, just ask them in a rate from 1 to 5 how useful did they find your service / event. Trust me, if something really needs your attention, your community will easily notice it.

What do you do if your nonprofit organization needs to make data-driven decisions and foster innovation?
To determine what data would the org need it would be necessary to have clear objectives: where do we wanna go? In my experience, having clear these metrics and data are oftenly asked by potential sponsors: 1. Community growth indexes 2. Number of events and technologists impacted 3. Social media presence At the end of the day, they're looking to collaborate and have a positive impact. On the other hand, one thing to consider as nonprofit is how many of these technologists have accomplished their objectives through our community, which allow us to earn an insight of how can we make it better for the community.

How can you use lecturing to coach and mentor students?
He tenido la oportunidad de dar conferencias internas para mis estudiantes y en otras universidades también, me ha permitido ofrecerles una visión más amplia de lo que hay en el mercado, mejorar la relación alumno-profesor pues crea diálogo. Creo que es sano que los alumnos conozcan al docente en un contexto igualmente profesional fuera del aula de clases, pues eres el primer contacto que tienen. Para quien quiera comenzar a compartir lo que sabe con estudiantes la mejor recomendación es: -Utiliza videos y ejemplos interactivos (ejemplo: escanear algún código QR) -Ábrete a preguntas durante la charla -Dresscode business casual -Lenguaje casual -Apoyo en analogías para explicar conceptos complejos
