Scott Jordan and Belle Costes
We are explorers of New York City’s history. We find artifacts in landfills, construction sites, shorelines, privy vaults and cisterns. Some things are found with a metal detector or by eye on the surface. We also have been mudlarking in London UK.
We are artists and historians, creating art and jewelry from what we find. We strive to present a small fraction of our city’s past by bringing these objects to light, in the form of a decorative objects and wearable art.
We sell our bottles, art and jewelry at:
Grand Bazaar NYC flea market on Sundays.
77th Street and Columbus Avenue in New York City.
The Artifact Artist - Official Trailer from Kaleidoscope Pictures on Vimeo.
