On March 3, Seabrook held a graduation ceremony for eight employees who completed Erickson Living University School of Culinary Arts Rouxbe program. The innovative education program supports employee development at the Erickson Living-managed community in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

The main focus of the Rouxbe program is to grow leaders and culinarians through three phases of development beginning with “Creating the Culinary Foundation” then moving to “Introduction to Line Culinary Fundamentals” and finishing with “Advance Line Culinary Fundamentals.” Each employee who went through this program is supported by Seabrook’s Executive Chefs, Dave Connolly and Talib Mohammed. The program consists of online videos and lessons as well as hands on assignments that are completed in the kitchen and evaluated by the Chefs.

The following graduates received a branded Certificate of Completion that is recognized by the American Culinary Federation and World Association of Chef Societies: Thomas Lisi; Steve Dawson; William Gill; Juliet Monticello; Edgar S. Lozano; Jemuel Estella; Kenneth Luzon; and Zachary Baggot.
