2b) Discussion and Possible Action Including Providing Recommendations to Staff and a Referral to the Board of Supervisors Regarding the County of Mendocino Cannabis Department Monthly Update

Honorable Supervisors,
I stated that I am opposed but in many of the item is am neutral. I support the MCA recommendations. I would also like to add that there needs to be more access to planners at the MCD. I submitted for renewal of my license with the county in June and only heard back form them in October after sending repeated emails and going in-person. I can't get questions answered on items that were sent back to me for correction. The state renewed my Annual license within 24 hours. I see and understand the lack of staffing but that is getting old and frustrating. I understand why the applicants that have not achieved the state annual license are frustrated with the county process. i can't even get a renewal. Please add MCD communication with License applicants to your list of items to be addressed. Sometimes it could be just an acknowledgment of receipt of document.
