Greg Lindberg is the founder of Global Growth, a private equity firm that helps transform failing companies into profitable ones. He is also an author, leadership coach, and serial entrepreneur.
Lindberg was born and raised in San Mateo, California, where he graduated from high school in 1989. He moved to the East Coast when he attended Yale,
where he received his economics degree in 1993.
While he was still in his second year in college, Lindberg created a newsletter called Home Care Week for medical professionals to help them gain a better understanding of complex medical regulations. He raised enough funds to turn that endeavor into a multi-million dollar publishing company just a few years later.
The 2000s saw Lindberg focus on purchasing and transforming underperforming businesses. He became especially interested in the insurance industry around 2012. Thanks to his hard work and expertise, the companies he transformed now employ a combined total of 7,500 people today.
