Bolton and Bristol: MBDA, STEM Application Masterclass Online event

This event is for Year 13 or final year College students (up to age 21) interested in a STEM career and who are looking to apply for an apprenticeship or job with MBDA.

MBDA are a defence company who use advanced technology to provide missiles for each branch of the armed forces. 

This Masterclass will give you insider knowledge from the professionals on the application process so that you can make a strong application. You'll also get practice time and support on different areas of the process so that you feel confident when applying in the future.

Your day could look like this:

  • Welcome to MBDA, ice-breaker activity and introduction to the team and the Application Masterclass.
  • Different programmes and opportunities that MBDA offer.
  • Explanation of the application process and how to apply.
  • Feedback support session around the application process.
  • Smaller group activities working on application-related tasks.
  • Mock interviews with feedback from MBDA professionals.
  • Next steps and pathways into a career with MBDA.

Next steps

  • There are only 30 spaces available for this event - priority will be given to students in the Bristol and Bolton
  • Prioritisation will begin two weeks before the event: successful applicants will receive an invitation 1-2 weeks before the event. If you register after this time, you might not receive a response.

This is an online event. You will just need a reliable internet connection or be able to telephone dial-in. Please make sure you have access to Zoom from your chosen device.

Due to the regulations and security measures at MBDA, anyone interested in attending an event with the organisation must be a British citizen. Uptree will also need to send your date of birth ahead of you attending the event. This information will be sent securely and only used for this event.
