☯️ Strength Lies in Balance As an entrepreneur, I’ve learned that energy is our most valuable resource. Yet, how often do we feel drained, even though so much depends on us? Movement helps consciously perceive our body, release tension, and find stability. This is where I center my embodied coaching approach, incorporating tools, principles, and elements from martial arts. This unique blend of power and calm can be incredibly effective in clearing mental load and letting energy flow. I integrate elements from Taekwondo to ignite dynamism, focus, and the energy of “fire,” and from Kimoodo (The Way of Life Energy in Martial Arts) to clear energy pathways, calm the mind, and restore the balance of Yin and Yang. These practices go beyond just movement. They are powerful tools that help me and my clients stay clear-headed during stressful times, make better decisions, and build lasting strength—not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I’ve been where you are. You want more of the things that you consider to be a necessity and less of the things that drain your energy. I get that being a High-Performing leader, parent, and entrepreneur has you live under the constant pressure to balance, build, and sustain the life you have envisioned for yourself. I also get that you are prone to burnout, often hard on yourself, and you may get tired more quickly than you'd like to admit. You frequently take risks and have learned to trust yourself to a degree that might seem extraordinary to others, while in reality, if they only knew how much you've had to learn how to be resilient; oooffff! You rely on a supportive team, whether that be with your life partner or the people that you have hired to help you build your dreams, as well as high-performing coaches and mentors, to help you maintain strong leadership. Despite your success, you often experience self-doubt, fear of failure, and can feel trapped by the very systems you have built to keep you striving. Lately, self-sabotage has been a common thing, but you brush it under the rug because you can't turn your responsibilities off. There's a good chance that you have a high tolerance for setbacks, have harnessed the endurance required for entrepreneurship, and have developed the type of tenacity that should be rewarded with a medal! Daily self-discipline is essential for you, and although it's essential, maintaining your commitment to your discipline seems to get harder by the day. Loneliness is a real thing; even in a full house. So is the reality that you're prone to living with the courage to confront your edges with bravery and grace. You are not deceived by the notion of financial freedom; instead, you have come to understand the different types of freedom your purpose-driven life offers you. Above all, you are fully aware of the immense effort required to manifest your ideas into reality. And yet, with all that said, you feel bad when you're tired. You want to perform at a higher level, you want it to feel easier, and you may even want to experience some more assurances in exchange for all your effort. Truth is, you're closer than you think to having these challenges and issues turn into blessings and opportunities. And I can tell you with utmost certainty that when you apply yourself to the lessons that the High-Performance Playbook is offering you, you'll notice that performing at a high level becomes a non-negotiable for you. Here's a quick coaching method that will help your clients go from stagnant to UNSTOPPABLE (while helping you become a better coach!) It's designed as a framework to help you shape your coaching sessions in a way that helps you position yourself as a leader, while taking a firm stand for your clients' success, and showing up your exceptional coaching skills. ---- The 1st Step: STOP Call Out the Problem that’s keeping the client from taking the suggested steps to achieve their goal This helps the client safely communicate what they are resisting, afraid of, or doubting about themselves or the process you are guiding them through The 2nd Step: Pause Help the client detach from the outcome they want and reassess the plan you have co-created with them. With a revised plan, you can both commit to moving forward. Detachment separates the client from expectations and provides clarity for critical thinking & vulnerability The 3rd Step: Play With resistance addressed, a plan co-created, and the client detached from the outcome [while still committed to their goals,] you can both move forward powerfully. It’s important that you’re in close proximity to the client for the first 2-3 steps they take. This will help them generate the momentum to develop the confidence to achieve their goal without becoming co-dependent to your presence. The 4th Step: Fast Forward Double down on what’s working and help the client increase their capacity for action and achievement. While your client is achieving milestones, they’re generating the confidence to set bigger goals. Repeat steps 1-3 to ensure they remain balanced while they pick up speed and generate momentum. The 5th Step: Reverse While holding your client accountable to their goals, go back to the notes you’ve collected regarding their resistances and pain points. Stay sharp for the client. They’ll be leaving things in their Blindspots while they advance forward.
