Le Lucis Trust bénéficie du statut consultatif auprès du Conseil Economique et Social des Nations Unies (ECOSOC), et la Bonne Volonté Mondiale est reconnue par le Département de l’Information Publique auprès des Nations Unies, en tant qu’ONG, Organisation Non Gouvernementale. En tant que telles, le Trust et la Bonne Volonté Mondiale font partie d’une communauté de plusieurs centaines d’ONG qui jouent un rôle actif aux Nations Unies, en particulier pour informer sur cette Organisation et en promouvoir les programmes. Depuis leur création, le Lucis Trust et la Bonne Volonté Mondiale apportent leur soutien grâce à la méditation, la diffusion de documents pédagogiques et l’organisation de séminaires, en mettant en valeur l’importance des objectifs des Nations Unies et de leurs activités, car ceux-ci représentent la voix des peuples et des nations du monde.

C'est une question simple ; pour y répondre, vous pourrez aller sur Internet pour collecter toutes sortes d'informations à propos de l'ONU. Quelques temps après, vous pourrez répondre à l'enfant : « Eh bien, l'ONU, c'est quand il faut faire des choses importantes - des choses qui concernent les gens du monde entier - il y a énormément de choses que l'ONU sait faire ».

"...the will is instrumental in the processes of 'impression', 'creative thinking' and 'direction' which lie behind the truism 'energy follow thought'. Therefore, understanding the will, its nature, its functioning, its characteristics, and the fact that we need to dedicate time and effort to its development, is of fundamental importance. The work to build a centre for harmonising the actions of ourselves, or of nations, needs to follow a specific program. In order to harmonise actions, actions need to be initiated. Many forms of action need to be explored in order to channel the will existing in, and to be manifested by, 7.2 billion people."

In 2014 and 2015 World Goodwill and the Lucis Trust produced a General Letter, a video, two issues of the World Goodwill Newsletter, and the World Goodwill Seminar in New York, London and Geneva on the theme 'Towards an Age of Light, in support of the United Nations Year of Light and Light Based Technologies, 2015.
