Can the government really execute renewable energy plan?

Does everyone know the size of your carbon footprint? Does everyone know exactly what a carbon footprint is? In all actuality, I don't believe most Americans know what their carbon footprint is, or maybe even care. But if you are a die hard, God bless Joe Biden liberal you can tell your neighbors everything about your carbon footprint.

Actually you may be easily picked out in your neighborhood as your new Tesla is in your garage, you have an electric lawn mower to mow your lawn, your Weber Kettle was replaced with a Char-Broil Electric grill, while your wife's gas range was replaced with a new electric version. For good measure you bricked up your fire place, and became a vegan, as beef and pork certainly add dangerous methane gas to the the atmosphere.

However President Biden can't decide how his administration is going to come up with the natural resources to build his green new world and still satisfy everyone. On January 26, 2023 he signed an order blocking Twin Metals Mn. LLC from doing any mining in the Boundary Waters Canoe area. After Biden's signature was set to paper, a spokesman for the company said. “This region sits on top of one of the world's largest deposits of critical minerals that are vital in meeting our nation's goals to transition to a clean energy future, to create American jobs, to strengthen our national security and to bolster domestic supply chains.”

Amazingly in another case where all the raw materials Biden needs to continue advancing his green technology agenda are ready for the taking, he refused to sign off on the necessary permits.

NewRange Copper Nickel, a joint venture between PolyMet Mining which already has land holdings near Babbitt, and Teck Resources, a company based out of Vancouver, British Columbia, with holdings in the old Mesaba open pit mines are ready to begin more serious exploration as soon as their permits are approved. The two companies are estimated to control half of the known copper, nickel, cobalt and platinum group metal reserves. Estimates are that NorthMet will produce 1.1 billion tons of material while more than 3.6 billion tons will be mined from Teck's Mesaba venture. These materials are required for all the new batteries and charging equipment the United States will need if it intends to move forward with Biden's green agenda.

Both companies are keeping a keen eye on the Biden Administration to see if they approve an application by Talon Metals that's hoping to open a mining operation near Tamarack. Talon has big hopes on their proposed venture as they have already agreed to supply nickel to Tesla Inc.

One of the main problems with mining rare earth elements for batteries is no one has a clue to how many batteries will be needed if the country continues following Biden's green Agenda. Vice President Kamala Harris was in St. Cloud on February 9 promoting electric buses that will have Wi-Fi, electric outlets to power computers and charging outlets for phones. She stated that since electric buses are cheaper to build, there will be more buses on the road, consequently meaning more batteries.

On February 7, Minnesota Democratic Governor Tim Walz signed a law into power requiring all Minnesota utilities to produce 100 percent of their electricity from carbon-free generating sources by 2040. This law has the the Minnesota State Legislature pondering how to store electrical power created by alternative energy sources when there's not enough wind or sun light to fill the demand for electricity. The reservoir-as-storage project currently under study, estimates it will take 1800 megawatts of capacity to supply power to roughly 1.3 million homes for up to just 26 hours. However that storage plan will not be ready until sometime around 2035.

After the way the Biden administration bungled the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, does anyone really believe they can handle a complete remake of our renewable energy program? Everyone knows the nine most feared words in the English language are, “I'm from the government and I'm here to help.”
