Natasha A. Khachatourians

Natasha Khachatourians is a Director and a member of the Insurance Defense Practice group. For over a decade, Ms. Khachatourians’ practice has focused on complex civil litigation of various types, ranging from premises and products liability to construction defect and wrongful death matters. She has defended clients against claims for professional liability, including attorneys and real estate brokers. While she primarily engages in general liability defense, Ms. Khachatourians also has experience assisting clients with debt collection and real estate disputes.

A key element in the success of Ms. Khachatourians’ cases is early case assessment and evaluations. She has a core belief that realistic valuation and effective litigation strategy is critical to bringing matters to resolution. Ms. Khachatourians promotes and fosters these integral aspects of practice through her management and mentoring of legal professionals in complex litigation matters.

Whether she is representing an individual or a large company, Ms. Khachatourians approaches each case and client with the same care and attention. Taking the time to include clients who may not have been involved in litigation in the process is another core function which has proven effective.

In addition to her own practice, Ms. Khachatourians is invested in mentoring newer and more junior lawyers. Additionally, she is involved in the legal community through her involvement as a Trustee on the Washington Defense Trial Lawyer Association’s Board of Trustees. She also is an active member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. Through the FDCC, she and a fellow member have started a podcast, “Creating a Home,” where they interview attorneys who immigrated to the U.S. themselves or whose families immigrated to the U.S. and how those experiences influenced their career path.
