Carrie is from a small Texas panhandle town and worked in the oil and gas industry for almost 20 years, including a dozen-plus years at Hilcorp Energy Company before becoming an investor. Her creativity and business acumen have reshaped the venture capital industry, and she values advocating for women entrepreneurs. Carrie is replacing long-time board member Robert L. Stillwell, who served admirably on the board for nearly 30 years. We are grateful for his service, leadership and wisdom, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.
