Nathan King
Co-Founder / CEO

Nathan is a LEED certified licensed architect with 20 years of experience building sustainable cities. Across his career he has designed and managed large-scale and complex urban construction. It was during the COVID-19 Pandemic when he was leading the team designing the new NYC Public Health Laboratory as the Senior Technical Architect at the global architecture firm SOM that the idea for itselectric took root and allowed his expertise in permitting and implementation within the built environment to translate into theacceleration of electrified transportation for cities across the U.S.

Tiya Gordon
Co-Founder / COO

Tiya holds 20 years experience in leadership and design operations across a range of disciplines for some of the country’s top firms and institutions. Her work has received the industry’s top accolades, including The National Design Award from the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum; the Inaugural Cannes Gold Lion for Creative Data; the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the Cannes Film Festival; and the designation of second most innovative design firm in the world by Fast Company. Her founding of itselectric is the first step in her refocusing the next 20 years of her career on projects waging war against the Climate Crisis

Judy Chang
Urban Project Director

Judy, an urban planner with a focus on land use and climate resiliency, served nearly 11 years at New York City DOT, including as Director of Special Projects. She holds degrees in Psychology and Urban Planning from UC Irvine and a Master's in Urban Planning from Columbia University.

Shannon Dulaney
Director of Public Affairs

Shannon, an urbanist with a decade-long commitment to sustainable transportation, has worked with Spin, a micromobility start-up, and Honda as a federal lobbyist. She holds dual masters from Yale School of Management and Yale School of the Environment.

Donté Harris
Project Manager (Detroit)

Donté is a sustainable mobility advocate with deeply rooted experience within the State of Michigan. While acquiring his Master’s, he managed projects with Michigan DOT as well as conducting extensive research under the Lawrence Livermore National Lab and UMich on the topic of electric vehicles.

He holds a degree Physics and Mathematics from Morehouse College (Cum Laude) and a Master’s in Civil Engineering from The University of Michigan.
