About us
MAX Resource Corp. is listed on TSXV with ticker “MAX” and is exploring for World Class Projects in South America. Sierra Azul Copper-Silver spans 120km along the Cesar sedimentary basin in NE Colombia. MAX has an EIA with Freeport-McMoRan Exploration Corporation, a wholly owned-affiliate of Freeport-McMoRan Inc.(“NYSE: FCX”) whereby Freeport has been granted a two-stage option to acquire up to an 80% ownership interest in the Sierra Azul Project by funding cumulative expenditures of $50 million. 2024 exploration program for Sierra Azul Project of USD $4.2M, will be funded by Freeport. Subject to TSXV approval, MAX plans is to purchase 100% of the Florália Hematite DSO property, located within the Iron Quadrangle in Brazil. Channel sampling of excavated mining pits in 2023 resulted in the definition of a geological target estimated at 12mt at 58% Fe.
