The Woman Entrepreneur Award of Distinction recognizes a female entrepreneur for outstanding achievement in business and who is a positive role model within her community.

The IMII, along with their member companies, are pursuing an Innovation Challenge that will provide an alternate energy system which will reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions, have a levelized energy cost on par with current practices, and will allow all members to collaborate at a pre-competitive level. Preference will be given to solutions that have been demonstrated at a pre-commercial scale in a field setting and can be deployed at a pilot scale within 24 to 36 months.
