Meet Jane Stoller – a Swiss-Canadian life-biz organizer, speaker, author and university instructor whose passion is in de-cluttering spaces and organizing business processes. Jane wrote her first book Organizing for Your Lifestyle in 2016 to help friends get more organized. It ultimately gained international attention, and this allowed Jane to turn her passion into a profitable business, Organized Jane. Stoller travels all around the world working with clients ranging from individuals looking to revamp one space, to large corporations needing a complete business overhaul.

“My goal is not to turn someone’s home into a magazine perfect image, it is not sustainable,” says Stoller. “I work around a client’s specific lifestyle, or an aspect of their life they want to focus on, and develop a custom organization system from there. The end result? Reduced stress, increased productivity and happiness.”

When Stoller sets down her pen and paper, she puts on her teaching hat. Stoller lectures at Vancouver Island University in Canada for part of the year, helping students learn management skills.

Prior to launching her organizing business, Stoller worked for the large cement company in the world, which allowed her to live all over Canada and Europe. Jane had an invaluable experience, but decided to make a nerve-wracking jump to entrepreneurship after realizing she wanted to live life to its fullest and follow her passion for organizing.

Stoller is currently promoting her second book, Decluttering for Dummies, teaching, working with individual and corporate clients, and can be found at various speaking events.

Well laid out, useful information that is easy to digest. The index at the end is a great reference. I felt inspired to declutter every time I read a section.

This is a tiresome book. Presents nothing new, just a rehashing of the same old suggestion that have been around for decades.

The sequence of this book makes complete sense! You need to be able to "declutter your mind" prior to decluttering your physical and electronic worlds. The author hits ever aspect possible of areas in your home and work life that can be more organized. The images are very visual appealing and provide guidance to assist in the decluttering process. This has brought new insight to my life and my view on decluttering that I will make useful in my stride to being more organized and simplistic!

Some useful tips, but a l-o-n-g drawn out advertisement to the author's web site where she sells (no doubt expensive) bags, boxes, a 'miraculous ' cube timer device to maximise your decluttering time and her bank balance. Something else to bung in a drawer and forget....creating more clutter.
A (probably unintentional) bit of ironic humour made me laugh out loud: while extolling the virtues of one of her bits of clutter busting equipment, she mentions that she has a few of this item in her "house in the Bahamas".
Say what?! A Barbadian house ? Well - naturally - no doubt bought on the proceeds from her web site. Ooh - cynical me!
This book was only 99p in the Kindle daily deals, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with it.
Save your money for a roll of bin bags instead of this book.
