Religion and rap often find points of intersection. Whether inspired by, brought up in, or influenced by the church, its presence is always somewhat there in spirit somehow, but the way Steven Malcolm utilized the trope in his latest visual for "Glory On Me" is creatively different. The track itself starts off with a Gospel-driven, emotional opening that serves as an introduction to a larger story that weaves through a drug deal, a police-involved shooting and a full-circle journey back to the pews.
