The Economic Development Commission helps the people who run the City of Seattle partner more effectively with those who lead and represent the businesses, workers, and major institutions that
together comprise the economy.

-Quadrupled Twitter following, increased Facebook following by 30% in 12 month period
-Launched and produced online video campaign (www.youtube.com/naaapseattle)
-Sold 20% of total ticket sales for 2010 NAAAP-Seattle gala
-Created chapter slogan, "Work hard, play hard, NAAAP hard."
-Built and led seven-member volunteer committee
-Led marketing committee to place first in nation in "PR/Marketing" at NAAAP National Convention 2011

-Implemented new marketing and PR campaign in 2011
-Help secure increased funding for programing and operations
-Help design and execute new business development programs for businesses along Martin Luther King Jr. Way so., including Plate of Nations, Business Ambassadors, and Business Mixers
-Built collaborative relationships with other local business development organizations
