Waffles is a feisty and funny dog who cannot play an instrument, sing or compose music, but somehow is convinced that she is musical! In this book, Crouton the corgi spends the day trying to figure out how his best friend Waffles could possibly be musical when all she does is make a musical mess everywhere she goes! This story is an opportunity for children to see themselves as valid and important contributors to our music culture regardless of their musical abilities while also being the first of its kind to remind children and their parents that music belongs to all of us.

About the Author
Barbara Brown is an elementary music teacher in New Jersey who finds joy in teaching young children how to stay in love with music. With a graduate degree in ethnomusicology from Barnard College, Columbia University, and a masters in music education from Montclair State University, Brown works to create curriculum content that allows children to explore music as a part of their humanity. With the support of her real dog, Waffles, Brown has written this book to give both music teachers and parents the opportunity to remind their children that being musical is not something you become, but rather something you will always be.
Anna was born in 1995 in a small town in southern Italy. During her childhood she loved making up tales, watching animated films, drawing and creating any sort of sculpture with the most disparate materials such as paper, clay, wood, and pasta. She has always been an introverted person. This is why she focused on art: she wanted to give freedom to her feelings, and when she discovered she could do that with colors and drawings she could not stop! After finishing high school, she decided to move to Florence to study Illustration at Nemo Academy of Digital Arts in order to follow her dream. Since then she lives trying to fulfill her goal, to touch people's souls through light and emotions.

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
