NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Colby-Sawyer men's cross country competed in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sunday finishing in 28th place out of 39 teams with a team score of 808.
Rapid Recap:
- Junior Hayden Goyette (Epsom, N.H.) led the way placing in 80th position in the 8k at a time of 26:39.15.
- Senior Jesse Gushee (West Linn, Ore.) came across the line next in 164th with a time of 28:15.66.
- Junior Martin Steucek (Ashburnham, Mass.) followed in 202nd with a mark of 29:22.50.
- First year Jeffrey Huckins (New Hampton, N.H.) (30:49.56) and first year Ben LaPlume (Bristol, N.H.) (31:05.76) rounded out the scorers in 237th and 241st.
- Boston University won the event with a score of 42, while Saint Joseph's (Maine) led the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) schools in 26th.
