Since it’s a 2-hour drive between the two parks, we wouldn’t recommend trying to visit them both in one day.
We would recommend spending a few days visiting Zion National Park and then driving to your accommodation between Zion and Bryce. This area is absolutely gorgeous, and a lot of these accommodations deserve more than a night spent there.
You can then stay a few nights at one of these gorgeous properties, and pick up your road trip to Bryce Canyon National Park a few days later.
