They begin to think that if they were in control, if they alone could decide what to do with the world, that it would be better. They begin to draw parallels between their own personal struggles and real wars that are currently being fought, and dissociate to the point of losing themselves in a fantasy. It can be easy to begin feeling this way, but there are dangers to this line of thinking. It often leads young men to violence, despair, and hatred. I wanted to explore these ideas to put them out in the open, to understand how and why this happens to people, thereby attempting to avoid such pitfalls myself. Noah aka Polyphonic made this video, and it was an honour to have someone with his skills bring this song to life with his incredible talent! My contribution was basically just giving him the green-screen footage and occasionally sending some notes his way, but he took this concept and ran with it and I couldn't be happier with the result!
